Salon Cancellation policy
If you or anyone in your household have Covid 19 symptoms please contact me to rearrange your appointment.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rearranging appointments. This is so I have time to offer your cancelled appointment to another client who would like to book in.
Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation charge of 50% of the treatment charge. Until the cancellation fee is paid you will be unable to book another appointment. I aim to send a confirmation of your appointment at least 48 hours before your appointment. If this is not possible, please remember that it remains your responsibility to remember your appointment dates to avoid the cancellation fee.

What information do I need?
To perform a treatment I need your contact details, full name, contact number, e-mail address, date of birth/age, address and postcode, relevant health information.
I also hold appointment history, skin/nail/Hair analysis, treatment charges and treatment photographs.
Why do I need the information?
All personal data kept on file is what is required to ensure that it is safe to provide you with treatments you may ask for, also for insurance purposes and for my invoices for my tax return. It will also allow me to contact you regarding past, present and future treatment bookings and showcase any work I have done (with your permission).
How long will we keep this information for?
I will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you were under the age at the time of treatment. I have a legal reason to ask you for your personal information as I need it for contractual reasons/ insurance purposes. Due to this I cannot offer you a treatment unless you are willing to share your personal information with me.
Will I share your information?
Your information will not be shared with any third parties or other organisations. I may ask permission to post photos on social media - this is purely an opt-in and permission will be gained beforehand.
How can I contact you?
I would like to send you reminders of appointments using the information you have shared with me. This is not obligatory for you to have a treatment and you may withdraw permission at any time by contacting me on the information above.
Please feel free to contact me using the contact details above should you require any more information on how your information is being used. If you need to change any of the information given or if you request your personal data to be deleted from my records. If you feel I am not handling your data correctly you have the right to make a complaint to me and if unhappy with my response you should the contact the ICO (Independent Commissioner’s office)
In order to secure my services for your date, I ask for a £50 non-refundable booking fee to be paid no later than 7 days after your initial enquiry and quotation, which can be paid by either bank transfer or PayPal. If no payment is received, your date will be released and available for booking by other clients. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than 7 days before your event date. In the event of a pandemic I will work with you to reschedule your booking, however if I am already booked and therefore unavailable you accept this forfeits the deposit.
A fee will be charged for locations outside of a 10-mile travel radius of BH22 0LU. The amount charged is currently 60p per mile; this is subject to increase in 2024. All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking.
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the hairdresser needs to complete the bridal hair. A set up table/work area needs to be made available for the hairdresser at said location. BECKY GRAY FRENCH AVENUE will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location.
The deposit/ booking fee is non-refundable. Please be advised, dates and scheduled Hairstyling times will only be reserved when your deposit/booking fee is received. Minimum of 4 people per booking
Additional trials take around 1-1.5 hours and are limited to 2 hours per person; after which you will be charged at £60/hour. Please get in touch at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule a trial should you not be able to attend, otherwise it will be counted as a missed appointment and added to the final balance.
BECKY GRAY FRENCH AVENUE reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the hairdresser arrives for the appointment. If BECKY GRAY FRENCH AVENUE can no longer perform services for any reason, she will do her best to find a replacement hairdresser, it is at the client’s discretion whether they go ahead with the replacement hairdresser . Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the booking fee in the instance where BECKY GRAY FRENCH AVENUE has to cancel is the only liability to BECKY GRAY FRENCH AVENUE
By making payment of your booking fee you therefore confirm you have read and agree to the terms of this contract.
Through Covid-19 I was able to move many of my brides original dates to accommodate new dates post 2020. Now we have moved from this restricted period of time, booking fees will remain non-refundable under any circumstances including Covid-19. As treatment and detection of Covid-19 has strengthened I now ask if you or your bridal party suspects you have Covid-19 prior to your date to get in touch with me, as I do have the right to refuse my services. In turn if I am unwell I do my best to provide a suitable hairdresser to complete your bridal hair on your wedding day.
